Suzuki Motorcycles India Pvt Ltd has kicked things off for calendar year 2026 by commencing the bookings of its first electric scooter. Called e-Access, this electric scooter was first unveiled last year at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo in Delhi NCR. This marks Suzuki’s global entry into electric 2W segment starting with Indian market.

Even though Suzuki has a wide range of scooters and motorcycles globally, they are primarily known for their 125cc scooters in India – Access and Burgaman Street. The company is developing new-gen Gixxer models to boost their appeal in motorcycle segment, but is also branching out into electric scooter segment with e-Access.
Bookings for the same have just commenced and the launch price for this scooter is Rs 1.88 lakh (Ex-sh). Sales will happen via official dealerships and e-commerce websites like Flipkart. Suzuki e-Access will offer four colours to choose from – Metallic Mat Black No.2 / Metallic Mat Bordeaux Red, Pearl Grace White / Metallic Mat Fibronin Gray, Pearl Jade Green / Metallic Mat Fibronin Gray and the new Metallic Mat Stellar Blue / Metallic Mat Fibronin Gray.
e-Access has a distinctive design with sharp aesthetics. It is a family-format scooter locking horns with the likes of Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta, Hero Vida VX2, TVS iQube and others. Long seat, brake lock, dual-tone alloy wheels, large under-seat storage, two hooks near floorboard, front utility pocket, LED lighting, hazard switch and other features.
The instrument cluster is a TFT screen which will be capable of Bluetooth connectivity, smartphone integration, app support and turn-by-turn navigation, among others. There’s a front disc brake and Suzuki is offering 12-inch alloy wheels at both ends. It gets a tip-over sensor, entre stand, keyless go, smart key fob, charging lid lock and more.
